GENERAL FUND BUDGET EXTENSION
WHEREAS, WAC 392-123-071 and 392-123-074 and WAC 392-123-078 permits a first class district board of directors to increase the amount of appropriation of any fund, and
WHEREAS, the General fund will have unexpected expenditures in the 2013-14 school year as a result of increased enrollment, unbudgeted maintenance expenditures and unbudgeted transfer to the Capital Projects Fund to cover Woodland School District’s portion of the Paradise Point Project, which will require an increase in appropriation and an increase of local revenues, totaling $425,000.00, and
WHEREAS, the General Fund beginning cash/fund balance plus revenues is sufficient to provide for the additional expenditures,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of Woodland School District, Cowlitz County, Washington, hereby increase the 2013-14 General Fund appropriation amount by $425,000.00 from $23,227,108.00 to $23,652,108.00.
