RE:        TEAM High School Update

TEAM High School staff (Jim, Aaron, Tia and myself) attended the Washington Association for Learning Alternatives (WALA) conference in October at the Clark County Skills Center.  During this time we found out that many alternative schools throughout the state have been audited as that is considered a point of emphasis with the auditors and OSPI.  We found out that preparing a separate document named the Audit Notebook is particularly helpful for the school and auditors.  We have started working on this and will present it to Michael when it is finished.  We have set a deadline date of January 1.  Also, the presenters made a blanket statement that all alternative schools audited last spring will again be audited this year.  There seems to be disagreement on this issue but we are preparing as if TEAM will be audited this year again.
