RESOLUTION No. 2544
Woodland School District #404 Hazard Mitigation Plan
WHEREAS, Woodland School District, with the assistance from Cowlitz County Department of Emergency Management has gathered information and prepared the Woodland School District Hazard Mitigation Plan, and,
WHEREAS, the Woodland School District Hazard Mitigation Plan, has been prepared in accordance with FEMA requirements at 44 C.F.R. 201.6; and,
WHEREAS, Woodland School District , is a local unit of government that has afforded the citizens an opportunity to comment and provide input in the Plan and the actions in the Plan; and
WHEREAS, Woodland School District , has reviewed the Plan and affirms that the Plan will be updated no less than every five years;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors that Woodland School District adopts the Woodland School District Hazard Mitigation Plan, as this jurisdiction's Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan, and Woodland School District resolves to execute the actions in the Plan.
ADOPTED this 9th day of May, 2011 at the meeting of the Woodland School District .
