RE: Yale Elementary Board Report
1) School Improvement Plan
Yale students and staff really did an outstanding job with student growth this year. Below is the data:
2) Recognition
This month, I’d like to highlight Andi Jacobs, our cook and custodian. This year, Andi has been the glue that’s held us all together. No matter what Andi has going on in her life outside of school, she continues to come to work and be the most positive and inspiring person. Our students and staff love Ms. Andi more than words can describe, and she has done such an amazing job loving and feeding our students as well as ensuring our school is clean and well cared for. Andi is resigning at the end of this year, and she will be greatly missed.
3) Upcoming Events
Yale students had the opportunity to visit the Art fest last week as well as have a picnic at Horseshoe Lake Park. I’m so grateful our district supports Yale students in this way! Today, our 4th graders visited the Middle School in preparation for next Fall. They will be going on a field trip to the Ape Caves this week as well as our PTO sponsored fun run. Next week, they will join North Fork in celebrating our Senior Graduation Parade. June is a very short and fun packed month of celebrations, learning opportunities outside of our school and hard work to firm up academic skills.
