Wrapping Up Winter Sports
WHS Winter sports are starting to wrap up as spring sports will kick off on Monday, February 27th. As of now, our girls and boys basketball teams are in the running for State, and we are sending 5 wrestlers to the Tacoma Dome for state on Friday, February 17th. Students are also able to have their families start signing them up for spring sports through FamilyID.
Valentines Day Flowers
On Tuesday, February 7th, and Wednesday, February 8th, WHS Floral Shop kicked off Valentine's Day by pre-selling flowers during lunch to students. Students were able to stop by the table in the cafeteria and select from multiple different flower arrangements (or just buy a single) and send their flowers to a friend, sibling, or Valentine to be delivered on Valentine’s Day. Due to the weather, the flower deliveries did get postponed until Wednesday; nevertheless, they were still a fun touch to the school day, and students seemed to enjoy them.
