Spanish Textbook Adoption: Qué Chévere!

To:  Michael Green Superintendent of Woodland School District

Text Adoption Recommendation:

The Foreign Language Text Adoption Committee would like to recommend adoption of ¡Qué Chévere! for our High School Spanish 1 and 2 courses.

As you are aware our foreign language curriculum is significantly outdated. This past spring the high school foreign language department worked to review current resources. As a result the committee is recommending adoption of ¡Qué Chévere!

¡Qué Chévere! Description :  Students connect to the Spanish-speaking world using a program that motivates them to rapidly develop language proficiency and cultural understanding. Students today need a multi-sensory and multi-layered learning environment that is designed to inspire creativity, synthesis, and collaboration, as well as provide opportunities to analyze, reflect, and evaluate. With ¡Qué Chévere! learners will discover Spanish in a whole new way with our cutting-edge digital resources, such as video-based tools, authentic cultural videos, eBooks and much more.
