I am just finishing putting the final touches on our safety net applications for 2013-14. This year we are submitting to the state for additional funding for 5 high need special education students for over $33,000. This money helps support those high cost students that require 1:1 Paraeducator Assistance and our Fir Grove placements. There is a tremendous amount of work that goes into applying for these dollars and I appreciate the work of my safety net review team which includes: Jenn Barry-School Psychologist, Devon Hillman, Life Skills Teacher, Karena Block-Center Based Learning Teacher and Devon Fliss-WHS Resource Room Teacher.
