SUPERINTENDENT REPORT

Michael Green reported that everything is moving along well. Enrollment continues to creep upwards.  There is a lot of good teaching and learning happening in the schools, with an overall positive feel.  There have been a number of personnel transitions lately.  The High School has a new Business Education teacher and Kim Miller is out on a leave of absence, due to a broken leg. She will need a long-term replacement. These items will be on the consent agenda this evening.  Friday there was a ribbon cutting ceremony at Yale School for the new gym. It was well-attended.  The students had a belated holiday presentation. The Board and Michael received positive feedback from attendees.  Janice said the new stage is very nice looking.  Jeremy said it can be set up completely in a half-hour, and folds and hides away.
