I have not closed out the month of January as I spent about 3 weeks on the Civil Rights report that the district was randomly selected to participate in and also have been getting ready for the auditor’s visit. They will be arriving on Monday. So, needless to say, this month I only have enrollment to report to you. I will be working on the general ledger and projections in the next couple of weeks and will have projected ending fund balance to you by the end of March.
The enrollment spreadsheets are attached, with summaries by headcount for September through February and a comparison of budgeted FTE to actual average FTE. The District enrollment dipped in December, held steady in January and dipped again in February. From January to February we lost 10 students and 7.70 FTE. February FTE was almost 26 FTE greater than budget and the average FTE through January is still almost 45 FTE greater than budget. I will continue to keep you apprised each month and will let you know how this affects the district projections starting with February financial data in March.
