Given the current schedule it is likely that the first phase of the WHS project will bid in the next few months and the contractor will be given a notice to proceed near the beginning of June.It is typical to have a formal "ground-breaking" ceremony with shovels painted gold and the media present. A few thoughts/options:1) Schedule on a Saturday near the end of the school year2) Schedule on Thursday, May 23 and conduct it as a "Chamber After-Hours"My thinking is that we engage the band, cheer leaders, etc and that Thursday may be more conducive to their involvement.
