February 8, 2013TO: Michael Green, SuperintendentFROM: Asha RileyRE: Yale Monthly Update Food Drive: Once again the students at Yale school are holding a Food Drive for their local community. So far they are half way to reaching their goal of 200 cans! If they reach their goal they get to see their teachers dye their hair! It was fun to see Mr. Niekamp with pink hair last year, can’t wait to see what color they pick this year.Increased Safety Response: While locking the front door of the school poses potential inconvenience to patrons awaiting help at the door we have had a very positive response from the community and parents. Everyone has been very patient and no one has complained. We are so grateful for our supportive community.
