As previously discussed with the board I have negotiated a purchase of property at 763 2nd Street. The location of this property is directly in front of the WMS office. This provides opportunity for future expansion of our faciities as we will surely need to do in the future. Given market conditions and the availibility of funds in the Capital Projects Fund (These funds cannot be used to support operations and school costs, such as teachers, etc) purchase of this property is a prudent choice.
Attached is the complete purchase and sale agreement, in five parts because of document length. I have signed this on your behalf but it must be formally approved by the board prior to closing on the property. The closing date is Tuesday, February 16th.
