Financial Update
I am currently working on the year-end financial statements. There are many accounting entries made at year-end that affect the September month-end financial reports. For this reason, I have not provided the September Budget Status reports this month, but will provide them next month. Starting with the November financial statements in December, I will be providing projected revenues, expenditures, and ending fund balance. The year-end report (which includes August) will be presented in November.
Enrollment
I attached the enrollment reports for October. The average FTE count through October is .52 below budget (October is 1.7 greater than budget). This is up 7 heads and 4.43 FTE from September. Special Education enrollment is also included. We are currently a total of 26 special education students below budget (10 PK and 16 K-21). This is a measurable difference, and I will be keeping an eye on this number in the upcoming months.
