President Guthrie called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

CITIZENS REQUEST TO ADDRESS THE BOARD ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS

Denise Pearl thanked the board for the consideration of the WAA contract on tonight's agenda.

REPORTS, REQUESTS, AND COMMENTS BY THE BOARD MEMBERS

Director Huddleston provided a small legislative update. 

Director Guthrie acknowledged Donna Butler's public comment from the May 28, 2026, meeting and thanked Asha Riley for all she has done for the school district in the last two years as superintendent. This last year had a lot of positives, and that all led to Asha.

REPORTS TO THE BOARD

Director Wodaege had some questions and concerns with the number of withdrawals on the annual withdrawal report.

DISCUSSION ITEMS

WSSDA Annual Conference

Directors Guthrie, Stuart, Huddleston and Wodaege expressed their interest in attending the conference this year. Director McLendon will check his schedule.

Cowlitz-Skamania Fire District Lease Agreement

Director Huddleston made a motion to approve the lease agreement as presented. Director Stuart seconded.

Public Comments - Donna Butler questions why the lease was free for the fire department.
