Human Resources Report

Compliance & State Reporting

One focus of the winter quarter has been meeting state-mandated reporting deadlines and ensuring district-wide safety standards.

  • SEES Report: Completed and submitted the School Employee Evaluation Survey (SEES) in December. This comprehensive report accounts for all staff evaluations from the previous academic year.
  • Civil Rights & Title IX: Investigating areas of concern to maintain a safe, equitable learning and working environment.
  • Leave Management: Facilitating ongoing one-on-one meetings with staff to manage medical and personal leave requests.

Labor Relations & Staffing

To maintain stable learning environments across the district, the HR department remains focused on providing consistent administrative guidance and robust staffing solutions.

  • Contract Administration: Guidance to leadership teams to ensure the consistent and fair interpretation of our Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).
  • Substitute Management: To support classroom continuity, I oversee the end-to-end recruitment process—including interviewing and onboarding—for both certificated and classified substitutes.

Professional Development & Training

Lastly, I work to mitigate district risk and stay current on evolving legal standards. I have completed the following specialized training sessions during this quarter:

  • November: Sexual Abuse and Molestation (Prevention & Response).
  • January: Responding to Discrimination Claims (Webinar).
  • February: Effective Collective Bargaining (Two-day intensive workshop).

The Riley Report: A Season of Gratitude and Excellence

From November 2025 through January 2026, the Riley Report showcases the district’s heart and soul. Superintendent Riley engaged directly with students and staff to highlight the pillars of our community: gratitude, achievement, and leadership. The series culminated in January with a special tribute to our Board of Directors, linking student gratitude to the leadership that makes their success possible.
