Board Workshop and Retreat Planning

To plan, the board will need to identify topics of interest for the January through June Work sessions and plan a date for the annual board retreat.

Potential Work Session topics:

  • Student Round Table (January)
  • Mid Point Check on School Improvement Plans (February)
  • Restoration of Levy Funds (March)

June/July meeting schedule and Board Retreat. Summer schedules tend to fill up fast, so it would be best to get the summer schedule and board retreat scheduled. Here are some options:

  • June 12th - Change to a regular meeting.
  • June 26th - Cancel this meeting.
  • July 10th - Make this the retreat with a consent agenda only approval. Start the meeting earlier (3 pm or 4 pm). Or cancel July 10th and have a Saturday board retreat on July 12th starting around 10 am. 
  • July 24th - Cancel this meeting.
