CALL TO ORDER
President Wray called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
CITIZENS REQUEST TO ADDRESS THE BOARD ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS
Carolyn Trice addressed the directors about bringing back the sports programs at Woodland Middle School since the levy passed.
REPORTS, REQUESTS, AND COMMENTS BY THE BOARD MEMBERS
Director Huddleston talked about legislative updates, the upcoming Regional Meeting, and the new bills that may affect the district.
REPORTS TO THE BOARD
Director Stuart thanked Steve Rippl for his hard work on the SIPS program.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
First Reading of Revisions to Policy 1400-Meeting Conduct, Order of Business and Quorum
With no objections from the board, this policy will be presented at next month's meeting for second reading and approval.
First Reading of Revisions to Policy 3245-Personally Owned Telecommunication and Electronic Devices
Scheduling of Board/Superintendent Retreat
Board and upcoming superintendent Asha Riley agreed to have the board retreat on June 29th, starting at 10 am.

Director Stuart moved to approve the consent agenda as presented

ACTION ITEMS
Second Reading and Approval of New Policy 6610-Video Surveillance
Director Guthrie moved to adopt the new policy as presented. Director Huddleston seconded.
Review and Approval of 2025-2026 School Year Calendar
Director Stuart moved to approve the calendar as presented. Director Guthrie seconded.
Review and Approval of General Assembly Position Proposals
Director Huddleston provided a list of positions with proposed amendments and suggested a resolution for the board to consider adopting. The other directors reviewed the positions and the resolution and had no issues.
George Trice and Dennis Ripp publicly commented that having as much local control as possible would be good for the district.
Director Huddleston moved to adopt Resolution 24-01 as presented. Director Mclendon seconded.
ADJOURNMENT
President Wray adjourned at 7:49 p.m. to enter into a closed session under RCW 42.30.140(4).
