The board meeting schedule currently has an "operations overview" scheduled as the topic. A few board members have posed questions about how the board functions, how the board interacts with the public, how the board receives and acts upon public input, how the board seeks public input, and many other topics.
As an alternative to the "operations overview," the board may wish to consider a "deep-dive" into Policy 1400, Policy 4220, Procedure 4220P, Policy 1620, and Procedure 1620P, including a discussion of how the board and superintendent team can engage more deeply and effectively with the community.
