Adoption of New High School Biology Textbook

Text Adoption Recommendation: 

The high school science department has been working to align their instructional materials to the Next Generation Science Standards. Most recently they have reviewed biology textbooks and as a result, are proposing adoption of the text below. The review process was supported by our ESD 112 Science expert and the team vetted this resource with multiple rubrics and tools to ensure it is aligned, rigorous, and a quality instructional material. This text is proposed for use in our 10th-grade Biology course. The committee has reviewed the request and unanimously supports the adoption.
