Draft Revision to Policy No. 5281-Disciplinary Action and Discharge
Under current policy employees who are recommended for termination have "two bites at the apple" when it comes to appealing their discipline. This policy change will ensure employees still have full due process, through the grievance process, but eliminates the redundancy that currently exists where employees can appeal directly to the board on two different occasions.
