I am pleased to recommend for approval Christensen Electric as the contractor fo the Structured Cabling Project. We opened bids on Monday, July 7 and there was a broad range of bids. Christensen has done work for the district for several years and is an excellent contractor. The alternate to add Cat 6 cabling (an upgrade from the base bid of Cat 5e is also recommended.
The total project cost, including tax will be $77,626.88. Attached is the bid tabulation and the recommendation from Consultant Rod Roduin.
