Change order #8 deals exclusively with costs associated with the footing/geogrid issue that we have made notice to the architect that we believe this falls under the errors and omissions clause of the contract between the district and the architect.
We anticipate a recovery of a significant portion, if not all, of the costs of this CCD from McGranahan and their engineers and insurance companies. Because it is the Woodland Public School District that has the contractual relationship with Skanska the change order must be made through the school district.
We have a contractual relationship with McGranahan and the District will be seeking a settlement from them.
