DISCUSSION ITEMS
First Reading of Policies 3413, 3416, 3419 & 3420
Attached are four recommended policy changes submitted to you for consideration at first reading. All four deal with changes in requirements for health-care and medications at school. These have been reviewed by school nurse, Deb Shoup and largely reflect current practice. All are as suggested by WSSDA with the exception of 3420 whee we have changed the WSSDA recommendation that ALL Staff training in paragraph 3 to Appropriate Staff training. I have reviewed the statute and this training is not required.
