President Wray called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

CITIZENS REQUEST TO ADDRESS THE BOARD ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS

Darcy Billingsley thanked the directors for their time and effort as school board members and presented a gift to each from her and Donna Butler.

SPECIAL PRESENTATION

January is school board recognition month. Students from around the district made posters and cards that decorated the school boardroom. Superintendent Green presented the directors with a certification and thanked them for all their hard work.

REPORTS, REQUESTS, AND COMMENTS BY THE BOARD MEMBERS

Director Huddleston gave a legislative update. Director Wray shared his experience attending the Chamber of Commerce lunch when the levy and the superintendent search were discussed. Cody Krieger inquired about seniors' ability to decorate their caps and gowns for graduation. Superintendent Green explained that this is governed by policy.

DISCUSSION ITEMS

Superintendent Search: Review and finalization of application requirements, process, and brochure

The directors reviewed the final draft of the brochure. One correction was needed, and then President Wray would give his approval to NW Leadership to post the superintendent position nationwide.
