CALL TO ORDER
President Watts called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m.
APPROVAL OF BOARD ABSENCES
Director Wray moved to approve the absence of Director Stuart. Director Huddleston seconded.

ANNUAL BOARD REORGANIZATION
Director Huddleston nominated Janice Watts as Board President. Director Wray seconded the nomination.
Director Huddleston nominated Jeff Wray as Board Vice President. Director Guthrie seconded the nomination.
Director Wray nominated Sarah Stuart as Board WIAA Representative. Director
Huddleston seconded the nomination.
Director Guthrie nominated Trish Huddleston as Board Legislative Representative. Director Wray seconded.
CITIZENS REQUESTS TO ADDRESS THE BOARD ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS
Destiny Schang talked about the WHS Buddy Program and how much she enjoys the program and would hate to see the program go away.

REPORTS TO THE BOARD
Director Huddleston commented on the student survey results provided by Brooklynn Donald and asked for further data and costs on the vape detectors.
Director Guthrie asked a clarifying question on the enrollment numbers.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
AVID at Woodland High School
Woodland High School teachers Jen Benedict, Stephanie Marshall, Melonie Holmes, Shari Conditt, and Jason Cowley presented an overview of AVID, their take aways from the conference and the potential benefits for students and staff. Principal Pearson provided his oversight and the three (3) year and five (5) year cost of the program.
Director Huddleston moved to approve the AVID Program at Woodland High School as presented. Director Guthrie seconded.
Director Wray amended the motion by moving to approve the AVID Program at Woodland High School for five (5) years as presented.

End of 2021-2022 Fiscal Year Review
Stacy Brown presented a PowerPoint presentation of the complete fiscal year and the board asked clarifying questions.
Legislative Conference
Director Huddleston volunteered to attend the legislative conference in February.
Topics for January and February Board Work Sessions
The directors agree to do the board self-assessment for the January work session and security and safety in February. Director Guthrie would also like to discuss the upcoming levy at the January meeting.

Director Guthrie moved to approve the consent agenda as presented.
ACTION ITEMS
Textbook Adoption
Director Wray moved to adopt Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief as presented. Director Guthrie seconded.
Second Reading and Approval of Policies 1220, 1400, 1610, & 2402
Director Huddleston moved to approve the policies as presented. Director Wray seconded.
Resolution 22-12 – Authorizing Investment Officer
Director Wray moved to adopt Resolution 22-12 as presented. Director Huddleston seconded.
