President Watts called the meeting to order at 6.15 p.m.

SPECIAL PRESENTATION
Superintendent Green recognized and thanked the board of directors for their time and dedication to Woodland School District as part of School Board Recognition Month.

Director Wray moved to approve the consent agenda as presented.

DISCUSSION ITEMS
Briefing on Refunding 2012 School Bonds
Mark Prussing, the district’s financial advisor, presented the bond refunding details to the board of directors including amounts and timelines.
Review of Work Session on Parliamentary Procedure and Meeting Structure
Director Huddleston made a motion to record board meetings and post the recordings on the district website. Director Guthrie seconded the motion.
Director Wray made a motion to amend the motion by including it after the legislative bill in the house has passed. Director Huddleston seconded the motion to amend.
Director Wray made a motion to amend the amended motion to state that the board will discuss recording the meetings at the end of the legislative session whether the bill passes or not. Director Huddleston seconded the amendment.
The amended motion read: The board will discuss and potentially vote on the question of recording school board meetings and posting them on the district website after the end of the legislative session regardless of whether the bill requires recording passes or not.
ACTION ITEM
Second Reading and Approval of Policies 1815 and 1825
Director Stuart moved to approve the policies as presented. Director Wray seconded the motion.
