WORKSHOP

Effective Use of Robert’s Rules Training

Ann MacFarlane, professional registered parliamentarian, presented a detailed PowerPoint with Robert’s Rules and how to effectively utilize them during school board meetings. The PowerPoint included making a motion and an amendment, guidelines to public comment, directors rights, responsibilities and roles, and much more. The board of directors participated in role playing activities in order to get the full understanding.
