RESOLUTION NO. 2582
Regarding Intent to Construct New Woodland High School
Woodland High School
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Woodland School District No. 404 has determined a need to replace the existing Woodland High School; and
WHEREAS, the tax payers of the school district have approved a school construction bond to provide funding for the construction of a new high school; and
WHEREAS, the drawings and specifications have been prepared and approved by district representatives and construction bids have been received; and
WHEREAS, the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction has determined that the Woodland High School Replacement (N/L) is eligible for state matching funds for new construction in lieu of modernization;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Board of Directors of Woodland School District No. 404 does herby intend to construct the Woodland High School and herby certifies the project will be completed for the purpose for which the state matching funds are being provided, as required by WAC 392-344-130.
