As the start of the school year nears on Monday, August 28, Woodland Public Schools welcomes students and their families back to school for the 2023-24 year with the following information, resources, and upcoming events.
Schools and district offices open to the public on Monday, August 21. Regular non-student office hours for each building are as follows:

YouTube: Beginning with the 2023-24 school year, the district will release informative videos. These videos will be posted to the website and the above social media, but also released directly on YouTube at our channel here: https://youtube.com/@WoodlandPS
FlashAlert: The district utilizes the FlashAlert service to send out press releases and important information. Additionally, FlashAlert is the district’s service for releasing alerts for school closures due to inclement weather. Students planning to participate in school athletics need to register in order to participate. Additional information about registration and other requirements is available from the district’s website at: www.woodlandschools.org/athletics
The Back-to-School Bash is Saturday, August 12 from 3-6 p.m. at Woodland High School located at 1500 Dike Access Road where students can receive free backpacks and school supplies. No advance registration is required.
Parents with students requiring medication administered by school professionals check in their medication before the first day of school. School offices open to the public on Monday, August 21.
Students and parents can drop in anytime between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23 to meet teachers, see their classroom, get any questions answered, and drop off supplies.

Lunch and Lockers invites students and their families to a sit-down lunch where students can pick up schedules, meet their teachers, practice opening their lockers (and decorate them) and more. Lunch is provided for free (pick up lunch tickets from homeroom teachers).
