Description As student-athlete Woodland alumni, the Duerr Family would like to give back to the Woodland community that supported their high school experience and beyond. This scholarship honors an individual who promotes inclusiveness, empathy, and fairness, contributing to a positive team environment. Athletic performance and statistics will not be the primary focus.

Criteria
  • 3.2 GPA
  • Student-Athlete (only a requirement in high school)
  • Must plan to attend an accredited college, university, or trade program
  • Must provide a letter of recommendation from a Woodland High School coach to discuss the athlete's character on and off the field
  • 500-1000 word essay (typed) (see prompt below)
