ALL STUDENT PICTURE DAY & RETAKES

ALL STUDENT Bell Studios 'first take' pictures will be taken on Thursday, Sept. 10 from 9:00 - 1:00.

ALL STUDENT Bell Studios 'make up day' will be on Friday, Oct. 23 from 1:00 - 4:00.

  • Grade and alpha groups will be announced and released for pictures on Sept. 10. Don't worry about this, if you miss your group you can take a picture when you get to school or during make up day.
  • Running Start & CTA can have their picture taken anytime.

SENIORS - HELPFUL INFORMATION

  1. Picture day (Thursday, 9/10) is for all seniors to have a "normal" picture taken. 

This will be printed on their ASB card (or ID card if they didn't pay for an ASB).  This will also be the picture in Skyward. 

Because the state is coming down hard on identification cards, silly photos are no longer allowed to be printed on the card. 

If a senior does not provide their own professional photo (by the due date), OR they do not have their senior portrait taken, then this photo will be the one in the yearbook.

  1. A November date will be announced soon for the senior picture day. Senior picture day will include: 

Portrait photo (they wear a black or dark blue shirt and the background is green). 

These can be used in the yearbook if they choose to not provide their own professional photo by the submission due date (posted on our website). These portraits are those that we have done for years (we often call them the "black shirt photo" or "nice photo" or "composite photo").

The sitting fee is $15. This includes retouching. Families can choose to purchase pictures through Bell Studios directly. 

  1. The November date will also include senior silly photos. 

These will be used in the yearbook (collage style). They will not be printed on any type of ID/ASB card.

Seniors can be as silly and creative as they would like - however, a few reminders and guidelines: 

  • No live animals or bugs
  • No inappropriate clothing or inappropriate words/references on clothing of any kind
  • No group pictures
  • No masks
  • No face covering
  • You can have face paint as long as we can recognize who you are
  1. Misc. 

- Seniors do have to have their picture taken on Sept. 10. If they aren't here tomorrow, or cannot come in tomorrow (EX: Running Start), they can have their "normal" picture taken on retake day (10/23). Even if they will be providing their own photo for the yearbook, they have to have their picture taken. This is the only option for a picture on the ASB/ID card. 

- If a senior has their silly photo taken, that will be in the yearbook (collage style). This does NOT replace their professional or portrait photo. 

- Seniors can do both the portrait AND the silly photo, if they choose. 

- Seniors can do one OR the other (they do not have to do both the portrait AND the silly).

- Bell Studios will make a list of each student who has their portrait and/or silly photo taken. After that, I will assign a fine to their account so they can pay the sitting fee/s. We will not take payment ahead of time and they do not pay Bell Studios for the sitting fee/s on senior picture day.

  • May 2027 (wait list) - $65 
    • Your name will be put on a wait list, you do not pay in advance. Once yearbooks come in and we have a book for you, then you will pay before receiving the book.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PHOTO

The deadline for senior portraits to be submitted for the yearbook is January 15, 2027.  We will accept a digital copy of the photo at the following link: Here

Make sure the image file name is the first and last name of the student.  Photos submitted with file names other than the student name will be rejected and returned.  

The image quality needs to be at a minimum of 300dpi and measure 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide.  There should be no animals, props, hats, or other items that block or make the portrait difficult to be placed in the yearbook.  You also want to make sure your senior is not resting their head on their hands and that their hands are not covering your seniors face in the photo.  Outdoor photos are accepted.  You will be contacted if there are issues with the senior portrait you have submitted.   

Senior Baby Ad Class of 2027 - Deadline is:  November 21, 2026 & January 12, 2027

What are senior ads?

            Senior ads are a common way for family, friends, or seniors themselves to celebrate their achievements.  These ads appear in the senior section of the yearbook.  The ads are full-color and will be a memorable part of your student’s senior yearbook. This year’s book will be a spring publication, so seniors will receive them before they graduate.   If you are interested in purchasing a senior ad, please read over the following guidelines.  If you have any questions please email terryan@woodlandschools.org.

How do I get one?

  1. Purchase ad in WHS office. You can pay with cash, check or credit card in the office. 
  2. Email photos along with a short message to Mrs. Terry at terryan@woodlandschools.org. Insert your child’s name in the subject line.  Include the size ad you purchased in this email.  If the ad is to be a secret from your child please let us know that as well.  Please use high quality photos. 
  3. There is limited space in the yearbook for ads, so they will be placed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  4. All ads will be designed by the yearbook staff for consistency throughout the yearbook. A proof of the ad will be sent to you before it goes to print.  You will have an opportunity to review to ensure all the information on the page is correct and approve. 

When is it due?

            There are two due dates.  If you submit payment and materials by November 21st, you will ensure the lowest price.  If you cannot make the first date, there will be a second due date: January 12, 2027.  See the above chart for price details.
