Description The Woodland Education Association Scholarship recognizes graduating seniors who demonstrate a commitment to learning, leadership, and service in their school or community. This scholarship supports students who plan to pursue a career in education that contributes to the growth and well-being of young people. Applicants should show strong character, academic effort, and a desire to make a positive difference through education.

All scholarships are one-time only scholarships (no continuing scholarships)

Successful applicants will need to supply the WEA Treasurer the address and contact person or office at the institution where the scholarship check can be sent.

Award checks need to be cleared by August 31st or they will be voided.

  • * WHS Graduate planning on pursuing a career in education. * GPA 3.0 minimum * 2 letters of recommendation * Resume * Brief statements (500 words or less) on: 1. "The impact an educator has had on the direction of your life." AND 2. "Describe your educational and career goals and how do you plan to make an impact as a future educator."
