Description This scholarship was created in 1959 by the Northcut family in honor of Billy Northcut, a Woodland High School student who unfortunately passed away at the age of 16. This scholarship is intended to support students and their postsecondary plans, whether they include university, two-year college, or a trade or technical school.

Criteria
  • WHS Graduate
  • Applicant must be in top 20% of class.
  • Applicant must have been accepted by an accredited four-year college or university or an accredited two-year college with definite plans to attend for four consecutive years. Applicant may also be accepted to an occupational school, such as lineman's college, plumbing, etc.
