Description At least one $500.00 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior. The number and the amount of scholarships will be dependent on funding and the quality of applicants.

The recipient must enroll as a full-time student at an accredited two or four year college or university. Upon proof of enrollment, the funds will be paid directly to the student's account.

  • Applicant must be a graduating senior from Woodland High School
  • Priority will be given to students who wish to pursue an education and career in science.
  • Personal resume including: *Statement of goals *Academic Achievement (include a copy of your transcript) *Citizenship in school and community
  • Essay from applicant addressing one of the questions below: 1. Why is science important to you and your career goals? 2. Why is scientific literacy important for all citizens? 3. How has science impacted your life and how do you see it impacting your future?
  • Finalists may be asked for a personal interview
