Woodland High School students will soon have a unique opportunity to gain real-world work experience without ever leaving campus. Beginning fall 2025, iQ Credit Union will open a new student-run branch at Woodland High School as part of its expanding campus branch program.
The on-campus branch, built with funding from iQ Credit Union, will provide a professional, hands-on learning environment where students can take on roles running a real credit union location. Alongside the branch, related coursework in financial literacy and business will help students develop money management skills and gain insight into careers in finance. If you have a student interested in this class, please contact Ms. Andria Terry at Woodland High School.
This branch will operate during school hours and be available exclusively for use by students, staff, and associated parents and groups—creating an engaging and practical learning experience within the school community. The program also offers paid internship opportunities, job training, and practical experience that students can carry into life after high school. Woodland’s branch will be one of eight high school locations participating in the iQ program across Southwest Washington.
In addition to the campus branches, iQ supports students and educators through scholarships, educator grants, and financial education initiatives, including budgeting simulations and classroom presentations.
We’re excited to partner with iQ Credit Union to bring this opportunity—and a touch of their signature red and black plaid—to Woodland students as they build confidence and career readiness, starting in Fall 2025
