Elementary students celebrate reading on Dr. Seuss' birthday with lunch of green eggs and ham!

Woodland Public Schools’ elementary students celebrated reading by honoring Dr. Seuss’ birthday on Wednesday, March 2.

Students were treated to a lunch of green eggs and ham prepared by the district's food services staff. Later in the afternoon, special guests like school principals and other staff members visited classrooms to read some of the famous author's books and short stories.
