Woodland's Walmart sent over a cart of gifts along with handwritten notes thanking teachers
During Teacher Appreciation Week, We honor Woodland teachers’ incredible dedication, tireless efforts, and unmatchable ability to shape young minds. There's a genuine appreciation that goes beyond words. Our teachers serve as our students’ compass, guiding them through the maze of knowledge and never hesitating to provide extra guidance when they need it.
To cap off the week, Woodland’s Walmart reached out to see if they could do something to honor our teachers and they went above and beyond. On Friday, Walmart brought a cart to Woodland High School filled with cupcakes, a new coffeemaker, k cups, coffee fixings, a basket filled with supplies, and a special offer for teachers of two months of television service.
However, Walmart didn’t simply go above and beyond with a generous gift – they included handwritten notes from customers who wrote about how much they appreciate specific teachers in Woodland.
Communities thrive when local businesses partner with their schools, and in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, we want to thank all of our Woodland businesses for their ongoing support throughout the years.
