The Class of 2017 (pictured here in May 2017) was the first class to receive $50k-for-20 scholarshipsThe Class of 2017 (pictured here in May 2017) was the first class to receive $50k-for-20 scholarships

In the past, Woodland Public Schools’ scholarship program has helped dozens of graduating seniors pursue their career goals by providing $2,500 scholarships to qualifying graduates to help pay for further education including universities, trade schools, community colleges, apprenticeships, and other forms of post-high-school education in order to find success in reaching their desired futures.

Many of our high school seniors have faced multiple waves of disappointment as the pandemic continues to limit their ability to experience school as we all once did. Finding hope has been difficult for many, yet, our students continue to persevere, stay focused, and overcome hurdles, with many graduating with a plan for their future that includes post-secondary education.

Unfortunately, Woodland High School’s scholarship foundation was substantially negatively impacted by the pandemic, resulting in the program having far fewer scholarships to offer Woodland’s graduating seniors than in prior years. We are very proud of our Class of 2021 and would like to provide this special group with more scholarships than we currently can. We ask any business or community member who may be in a position to donate to consider contributing to this worthy cause.

HOW TO DONATE:

Community members and businesses interested in donating to the Woodland High School Scholarship Fund can do so online at: www.woodlandschools.org/50K-for-20. Alternatively, contributors can donate funds directly by visiting the high school office located at 1500 Dike Access Road, Woodland, WA 98674 during school hours.

Woodland Public Schools thanks its community for their ever-present and ongoing dedication to supporting our students in all the ways they can. We thank you!
