We are recommending a change to the graduation requirements for Woodland's High Schools. Many years ago the State Board of Education repealed the requirement that students complete a culminating project as a graduation requirement. At the request of the high school administration at the time we recommend that the project be maintained as a requirement. Over time the impactful elements of the culminating project have been enveloped within the High School and Beyond Plan. The high school and district administration recommend removing the culmination project as an additional local requirement. That is the purpose of this recommended revision to policy 2410.
