As our construction administration team met we decided that policy 6950 is deficient and should be modified. The last section of this policy, dealing with construction change directives (CCDs) currenlty has language that would indicate we have afinal cost identified with CCDs. By nature CCDs do not have a firm cost associated, rather an estimate. It is conceivable that the final cost will be above that estimate. This change to policy inserts language to indicate the CCD is an estimate.
