Regarding Award of Construction Contract for Phase 2 of the new Woodland High School
Woodland High School
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Woodland School District No. 404 plans to construct the new Woodland High School; and
WHEREAS, general construction bids have been received by the Woodland School District and have been reviewed by district representatives and the lowest bidder deemed bona fide;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, for the purpose of compliance with WAC 392-44-110, the Board of Directors of Woodland School District No. 404 awards the general Construction Contract for the construction of the new Woodland High School – Phase 2 to Skanska USA Building Inc. as follows:
Base Bid – Building and Site $43,200,000
Subtotal $43,200,000
Alternate Bid A1: Auxiliary Gymnasium $1,036,000
Alternate Bid A3: Commons Side Curtain $27,000
Alternate Bid A4a: Main Gym Bleachers $15,000
Alternate Bid A5: SS Counters at Culinary $27,000
Alternate Bid S1: Practice Fields $80,000
Alternate Bid S3: Exterior Batting Cages (no cover) $28,000
Alternate Bid S5: Cross Country Path $25,000
Subtotal of Alternates $1,238,000
Total Contract Recommendation $43,538,000
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Board authorizes the Superintendent of Schools to sign, on their behalf, all appropriate construction contract documents.
