She created the honors and health science program at Woodland High School, and she has attended courses at countless state and national science teacher conferences.

Principal John Shoup explains, "Ms. Cullison embodies all the characteristics of a life-long learner, and models her passion for learning with her students on a daily basis."

The NSHSS was formed in 2002 by James W. Lewis and Claes Nobel, senior member of the family who established the Nobel Prizes. The NSHSS recognizes academic excellence at the high school level, and helps advance the goals and aspirations of high-achieving millenials through unique learning experiences, scholarships, internships, international study, and peer networks.
