Woodland Public Schools invites interested community members to apply for Board Vacancy

Woodland Public Schools currently seeks an interim representative for the Director District 5 board position for a two-year appointment until the general election in 2016.

Applications will be accepted at the Woodland Public Schools' District Office until September 25. Candidates will be interviewed on Monday, October 12. The interim representative will be appointed at the regular board meeting on October 26. The position became available following Director for District 5 Jeremy Stuart's resignation in August.

"Serving on the school board offers the opportunity for individuals to give back to the Woodland community by contributing time to create a positive future for our students," said Board President Janice Watts. "We look forward to filling this position with a qualified citizen eager to continue the district's dedication to excellence in education."
