Student Spotlight : Vince Nigro

Vince Nigro is finishing up his senior year at WHS and has been involved in a number of activities in and outside of school. From football to track and field to juggling a number of AP classes, Vince happily manages his busy schedule with ease.

 A member of Interact Rotary, FBLA, FFA, Senior Class President, plays trumpet and guitar in the Jazz Band, he certainly utilizes all of his talents. In addition to his scholastic schedule, he also enjoys the outdoors, hunting, camping, fishing and hiking.

When asked what he has enjoyed most about his time at WHS Vince said, “It’s a healthy environment here, and it has been an unbelievable experience to explore all the options in our small community.” Vince was recently accepted into an ROTC program in Portland and plans to study civil engineering. He gives credit to his teachers saying, “They look out for us and truly care about our future. They helped me set goals, achieve them and even improve.”
