Student Spotlight: McKenzie CollinsPrevious Next
McKenzie is rounding out her junior year at Woodland High School with a big smile on her face. The National Honor Society member is taking several honors classes this year such as: AP Biology, AP US History, Pre Calculus, and Honors English. And, for the past three years she has participated in the Free the Children Club—promoting Adopt a Village awareness to the Woodland community.
When she isn’t playing soccer, basketball or golf for Woodland High School, McKenzie enjoys hiking and camping with her dad, and visiting her grandmother in Castle Rock.
“The teachers at Woodland are challenging, but supportive at the same time,” said McKenzie. “They always push us to take a step further, ask another question and encourage us along the way.”
