Student Spotlight : Rebekah Krohn

Previous Next

A senior this year at WHS, Rebekah Krohn stands out among her peers as an outstanding student. Rebekah is involved in the Woodland Rotary Interact Club, teaches dance at the Lonestreet Playhouse, and has been nominated to the National Honor Society for the past two years. She also takes multiple advanced placement classes at WHS.

For her culminating project this year Rebekah organized the Operation Christmas Child Drive at her church; a project that takes an overwhelming amount of organization. With her efforts, 37 shoeboxes filled with children’s gifts were sent around the world for Christmas this year.

In her time outside of school Rebehak enjoys sewing and making costumes for plays. She is looking at attending college in Southern Oregon and would eventually like to study aboard.

When asked about what she appreciates most about WHS she said, “Teachers. They are interactive and have played a large role in keeping me motivated and doing my best.”
