Partners in Transition Program Graduating ClassPrevious Next
The following students graduated from Woodland School District’s Partners in Transition (PIT) program on June 6th: Geoff Burgess, Zoey Wilson, Karly Cordano, William Ferguson, Taylor Morrison and Shryna Moen.
This program is designed for the 18-21 Special Education Life Skills population. PIT is in partnership with ESD 112 which includes students from Ridgefield, La Center and Kalama. Within this program, students work on home care, cooking, shopping, self-care, independent living, functional academics, community access, social skills and employability. Students in this program will be involved in a work experience for part of their day. This may be an independent activity or a staff guided activity. Students spend the rest of their day working on functional academics, home care or in the community gaining daily living skills.
Teacher, D’Ann Horrocks, is so proud of her students. Congratulations, graduates! We wish you all the best!
