An outreach program for parents called Parent U has been established through the ESD 112. They provide a webinar series for parents covering various topics. This Winter and Spring webinar series focuses on 'Keeping our Children Safe on the Internet.'  We will be offering parents, staff, and others the opportunity to view these webinars in a group setting at no cost. Officer Plaza from the Woodland PD will also attend and speak about the legalities of the issues.

DIGITAL FOOTPRINTS: Forever There

In October 2012, it was announced that the popular social media giant Facebook had

reached 1 billion registered users. Many of the users are children who don’t

 know the dangers of sharing too much information. Help your child to learn to

avoid the mistake ofexposing risky or too much information when using

social media and other online technologies.

 

CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING: Lost Innocence

Audience .............................. Parents of children in grades 5-12

The use of the Internet for child sex trafficking is taking place in our own communities.

Learn how online predators manipulate and coerce children away from their parents.

THEN … give your children the resources they need to stay out of danger.
