The Cowlitz County Extension of Washington State University is offering a free Strengthening Families Class for parents and caregivers of youth ages 10-14.

The eight-week class (one session per week) helps parents build understanding of teens and pre-teens through a dozen parenting tools. Kids will engage in fun, hands-on activities as families solve problems together by building on family strengths through games and fun.

The class will help parents and caregivers work with their teens to develop skills for handling peer pressure, managing stress, and building positive relationships.

The class takes place on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Woodland Middle Schools beginning January 23, 2019 and ending March 13, 2019. Dinner will be served each evening for families.

Free class enrollment is limited to 12 families so register today!
